The Wedding Collective

Brisbane’s premier boutique suppliers came together to create a night of inspiration for brides-to-be. Priding themselves on thinking outside the square, this collective is made up of talented purveyors in their respective fields.  With incredible styling by Amini Concepts, Lightspace was transformed into a stunning wedding venue with four distinct themes… Summer Spritz, New York White, Bonjour Madammoiselle and Nostalgic Grace.  Including a beautiful fashion parade and entertainment by Leah Rush, a fantastic night was had by all.  Thanks to the Wedding Collective for creating such a special event.

Lightspace Wedding Styling Shoot

I’m sure Lightspace has never looked so pretty, with a styling shoot organised by the talented girls at Amini Concepts.  The idea was to shoot a variety of different wedding looks to give couples options on their special day.  I’m sure you’ll agree, our blank canvas venue was transformed into a work of art.

A big thanks to the companies below..

Sampology Preview Show

[slideshow] With an incredible mash up of music and images, Sampology’s Preview Show went off with a monster bang.  For those of you unfamiliar with Sam’s work, he cuts up and mixes film footage from every obscure source imaginable to accompany a banging DJ set.  A very talented young lad, this was the preview show to his upcoming US tour.  Being a Brissie boy, Sam also got everyone got on board to donate the ticket price to the Flood Relief Appeal.  A personal fave was the set by DJ Cutloose, who actually prepares a very tasty pizza while spinning some kicking tunes in full chef outfit.  A good time, a great cause and a big thanks to Jane from Young Strangers and the crew from Wine and Dine M.

Wine and Dine M Menu Launch

Wine and Dine M are the preferred caterer at Lightspace.  They make super yummy food, pure and simple.  For their recent menu launch 350 of Brisbane’s food fanatics were treated to some amazing flavours with five different stations dishing out  canapes, some mouthwatering desserts and everything in between.

Lightspace Launch

A big thanks to all who came to see performances by Zambia Congo Capoeira, a fashion parade by the Queensland Ballet and theatre by Zen Zen Zo at the Lightspace Launch.  Art pieces dazzled those venturing upstairs with Mary Anne Kyriakou’s light art installations and a pop-up gallery by Joshua Levi Galleries.  With fantastic food dished up by Wine and Dine’M t’was a night to savour.  A big thanks to Rosemount Wines, Yellowglen Leila, VB Raw and Solution Red for tasty drinks and making the place look beautiful.  Images courtesy of Marisol da Silva…
